I listened to the book of Hebrews this morning. Hebrews 2:1 says we must pay careful attention so that we don’t drift away. Andy Stanley said, “What gets our attention sets our direction and direction determines our destination.” What grabs my attention may not lead me to the future I want. We need to choose carefully to what we pay attention. In paying attention to what is good, we may lose attention to the best thing that takes us to the best future. Hebrews 2 goes on to say the best future is the great salvation found in Jesus.
